Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Reports to: VP of Product Development and Web Operations FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) that can drive our product forward while improving our development and testing processes. The position will be responsible for the day to day testing of the Conenza platform. A typical workday will be divided between developing test automation, verifying fixes and evaluating new features.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain user interface automation against web application using Selenium.
Create and maintain performance testing automation using JMeter or similar tools
Verifying bug fixes
Evaluating new functionality
Enhance existing unit tests using JUnit or similar tools
Measure, analyze and communicate quality metrics, test status and assist in the prioritization and escalation of bug fixes
Improve test process and collaborate effectively with program management, development and cross functional teams
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in a SDET role for a commercial web based product
Some commercial Java experience
Experience working with Linux/Apache/MySQL
Experience with Selenium, JMeter, JUnit
Ability to write moderately complex SQL queries
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be a key contributor in a small team, and thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
